Board Rules
No spamming on the board please. It's just plain annoying and if you continue to spam, you will be banned from the boards.
If you post any message that is considered rude or insulting to another member then the message will be deleted. If you continue to post such messages you will be banned. Abusing is bad, and it really upsets people.
If somebody is being offensive, report it to an admin and they will most likely be banned, depending on what they said or did.
Please, please try to act in a responsible and respectable manner towards other members and if someone is causing trouble for you or anyone else on the boards, like being rude, cursing or breaking any of the rules, report it imediately to a staff member; do not try and handle it yourself, it will just make things worse. And don't reply to them in the same or in a more disrespectable manner than they are showing to you.

Rules of Roleplay
Powerplaying and Godmoding are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated! It is disrespectable to other members!
- Powerplaying is when you control the movements or actions of a character that doesn't belong to you. This includes: hitting, scratching, biting, clawing, kicking, pushing, drawing blood, or anything that can be considered a roleplay action. For example, Dog 1 is fighting Dog 2, and Dog 1 is my character. When Dog 1 attacks Dog 2, I make Dog 2 dodge, and they aren't even my character.
- Godmoding is portraying your character as an unbeatable, all powerful and almighty being. For example, if Dog 1 attacks Dog 2 and it would've killed Dog 2, but nothing happens to Dog 2.
-There is no chat speak in roleplay. Roleplay with complete sentences and correct grammar. If you want to chat speak, talk in 'ooc' (out of character)
- Posts must be at least 2 or more sentences. If you create a new topic, try to make the introductory post at least over a paragraph, which is 4 sentences, to make the role-play much for interesting and fun for all.
- In order to roleplay a character, a profile of that character must be made first. You will find the format for it on the Character Biographies page.
- A character can only be in one roleplay at one time, meaning that a character cannot be in more than one active topic at a time. Characters in topics that have stopped or died, (in other words no one's posting on it anymore) may move on to another board. Or the character can simply roleplay "leaving" the board and move to another.
-There is no limit to how many characters a user may have, however please do not abuse this and create too many characters, because it confuses admins and all other members. If you have too many, we will delete those characters, and if you continue to use them, you will get a limit to your chars.

Other Important Roleplay Information
Time- Seasons are only roleplayed as they come. (We follow the Southern Hemisphere seasons) Snow in summer can be made if characters are roleplaying in very high, mountainous areas, as higher altitudes means alot of snow with the colder temperatures. Desert areas will forever be hot by day, cool at night, and oceans, forests, or other related terrains are ever changing with the seasons. Do not change the season at all. You will be banned if you do so.
In roleplay, you cannot fast forward time, and if you do, you will get a ban for 5 days.
This is NOT allowed. You must wait atleast 5 real life days until dogs can become mates, or humans become girlfriends and boyfriends. You must wait 2 real life weeks until pups or children are born. You cannot change their age, but after a real life month, they are a close to a year old, and for humans, it's 5 months until they are older. Its strange, but we don't literally want to wait one whole year.
Abilities/Powers- No powers are allowed at all. If you use a single power, you will be banned for a day. There are NO powers what-so-ever.
Dog Groups- The City and The Park have no groups at the moment. House dogs and Strays are always there no matter what. The Junkyard is inhabited by the Junkyard dogs, which are Strays that have been given a chance. The Abandoned House has both Strays AND House dogs. Yes, it is strange, but these are the dogs who want peace between posh and brawny. The seaside is a fun place for all dogs.
Breeding- With breeding, it rarely happens. You have a choice; RP it over an IM service, eg: MSN, Yahoo Messenger, etc; or you can RP it over Personal Messaging. Its technically up to you.
Fighting- There is no fierce fighting allowed at this point. You can have mini-fights, where in the middle of the fight, and owner, or a relative breaks it up. Or you can have a small fight. No large ones please.
Admin- Do not, I repeat, do not get on my bad side. I will ban you if it is serious. Don't fight with me, you will not win. I have the power to ban you and delete your posts from the boards. I, Plushii, am the only admin on Cross Paradise. More admins will be added soon if trusted.

Art Thieving
We currently now have a strong policy against art thieving. If anyone steals art, then puts it anywhere on our site, you will be banned for 3 days on the first offence. On the second offence, you will be banned for 2 weeks. On the third offence, you will be banned for life. It is extremely horrible for someone to steal art, so please do not steal.
